Eden 2, is a residential development intended for vacation rentals, located in the heart of Tulum. Surrounded by lush vegetation, cenotes, crystal-clear beaches, and the rich cultural heritage of the surrounding villages, the project harmoniously connects with these elements, paying homage to them by integrating water, vegetation, and the vibrant colors of the Mexican Caribbean.

Situated in a circular layout, Eden 2 features a natural pool at the center, resembling a cenote. The architecture incorporates organic and biophilic geometries, seamlessly blending with and contrasting against the surrounding context. This design promotes natural views and illumination in all apartment spaces.

Eden 2 is designed for temporary visitors, particularly catering to vacationers. The majority of the apartments are one-bedroom studios, equipped with all the comforts necessary for an extended stay. These studios can convert the living room into a workspace, providing a central area for digital nomads to work efficiently.

APARTMENT TYPES

Studios: One-bedroom apartments designed for vacationers, featuring convertible living spaces for work and relaxation.

Pentgardens: Similar to the studios but include a private garden and terrace.

Penthouses: Offering the same features as the studios, but with two bedrooms and a private rooftop garden with a pool.

SUSTAINABILITY

Eden 2 incorporates several sustainable strategies to ensure environmental responsibility and comfort for its residents:

– Passive Design: Includes passive design elements for better thermal comfort, such as temperature mitigation systems, double walls with thermal insulation to reduce AC consumption and interior noise, and high ceilings for improved temperature regulation.

– Water Management: Implements rainwater harvesting and reuse, separation and reuse of greywater, and saltwater pools to minimize chemical use.

– Responsible Energy Management: Utilizes low-energy consumption lighting and solar panels to reduce the environmental footprint.

With Eden 2, Cafeína Design creates a serene and sustainable retreat in Tulum, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities, natural beauty, and cultural richness, ideal for vacationers seeking a prolonged stay in a paradise setting.
